India Affiliate Summit 2015 from Blogger’s Perspective

India Affiliate Summit 2015  that was held on 8th and 9th of October 2015 at “The Lalit” New Delhi was a dream come true event for me. An Indian blogger always dream of meeting blogging gurus such as Harsh Agrawal, Kulwant Nagi and Jitendra Vaswani. India Affiliate Summit 2015 fulfilled my dream of meeting all these gurus at a single place. The event become even more brighter for me after meeting  The Domain King “Aishwin Vikhona”. There were other legendary people too but I was there to see these people and Yes I met them. I am going to present the highlights of India Affiliate Summit 2015 for those who were unable to attend this amazing event.

 

DAY 1

Reaching out there in The Lalit and registration process

It was an exciting moment for me to go visit The Lalit, a five star hotel located in the heart of the city in Connaught Place, New Delhi. I was with my best friend Gaurav Pareek. When we reach there the registrations were going on and we enrolled ourselves for the event.

Started with a Spark

During registrations I got a chance to meet one of the amazing blogger Jitendra Wasvani(founder of Bloggers Ideas) who filled my inner with motivation and fire to rise  in blogging arena. You should  this complete Search Engine SEO Guide

There was a great excitement all over. We collected our badges and moved towards the Affiliate Street where all the biggies of Affiliate Marketing had their stalls. Following Companies presented over there: VCommision, Optimise Media group,  DGM India, Earn Talktime, UC Web India, GOPaisa, Tune, AdsPlay  International, Adatha, Payoneer Inc., Mobisco, CashKaro.com, Opicle Technologies, Yatra.com, Avazu, BlogMint, Rational Heads, Affle, Admit Ad, digital Vidya, Cake India, DSIM, Payoom and many more….

Earlier I was dependent on Adsense income and some common affiliate programs but after moving through I get to know about amazing new Ad Networks that can be very helpful to monetize your blog. A big knowledge enhancement in my affiliate marketing knowledge.

During the event I got a chance to meet one of the top blogger of India Kulwant Nagi, Founder of Blogging Cage. I was delighted to meet one on my blogging mentor. We discussed about the keyword selection and suggested to read his book Keyword Research and Domination.

Then I managed to meet the Domain King of India Aishwin Vikhona. We had a talk once on Skype and it was great to meet him live. Genuinely he is a great personality and down to earth human. These kind of person are very hard to find. After meeting him I crossed one more milestone in my mentors list.

After the 8 October event there was Affiliate Street Party. The party was really one of its kind. Great snacks, networking cocktails and lots of business talks.  The biggest attraction of the party was “Agnee Band” who has composed a lot of Bollywood and Hollywood songs.

DAY 2

After the networking on day 1, day 2 was full of knowledge assimilation. We were a bit late to the opening address. We were directly into the first Panel Discussion on Importance of Affiliate Marketing for Lead Marketing Campaigns. It was an amazing panel in which we get to know the insights of affiliate marketing and really bloggers can generate a lot of leads if we implement the campaigns with proper knowledge. Then the second panel as about Expansion Strategies for Affiliate Marketers where the discussion brings so many great expansion techniques in an existing affiliate campaign. After this there was a launch of UC Open Platform 2.0 where the MD, UC Web India Kenny Ye presented his ideas on Traffic Monetization and User Acquisition in India.

It was 2 and now time for the lunch. The lunch seems a great networking session for us as we met some very good people who were doing great in their startups. we met Manish Arora, Founder of Cash Deal Kart which is a cashback website and provides exciting offers. He has great expansion plans and we wish his success.

After lunch there were three more exciting Panel Discussions on the topics The First Pick of for Cost per Sale Campaigns, Impact of E-Commerce Enablers on Online Buying and Mobile Marketing: The next Big thing in the Affiliate Industry. These panel discussions were taken up the Affiliate industry giants. These sessions were sea of of knowledge and we learnt how important is to target the mobile audience and users. 74% of web browsing is now operated on the mobile and smart phones. Tracking of mobile acquisition has become the foremost need of an online business.

On day 2, I have attended the best workshop of my entire life which was delivered by the great Blog Scientist of India Harsh Agrawal, founder of the award winning blog Shout Me Loud. He teaches us how bloggers can make easy money through affiliate marketing. It was amazing and my dream to meet him came true in this event. He is so humble that I cannot explain you. His fans never let him go for the next an hour. I got my queries cleared by him and he patiently take questions from all his fans. It was an amazing moment for me to take a snap with him. Here is me with Harsh. Wait I am going to publish an interview with Harsh Agrawal in Rusty Blogger’s interview series.

Now it was the time for the Summit Closing. At last we were greeted each and every professional we meet there. Again I got a golden chance to meet Jitendra Wasvani, Aishwin and Kulwant Nagi together. We discussed a lot more things about internet lifestyle, blogging, domaining and adding value to your domain. They advised me and my friend Gaurav with some good workable points that we are implementing now in our blogs and business. Aishwin discussed his domain story of property.guide and laughed at my new portfolio domain AbhishekJain.guru We all had some nice talks and it was time to leave with wonderful memories. We had a small photo session in the end and left with more profound dreams to grow in field of blogging and Internet Marketing.

As a blogger and Internet marketer, this India Affiliate Summit 2015 was a great success for me,  Gaurav and hoping for all others too. For bloggers like me I must say these events can be a great turning point in their life and their blog where you connect with the experts of your field.     It looks good but I will enjoy more if you write more about learning and ideas that was discussed and shared in the Summit. Now, it looks you sharing a journey process which was took place during the whole period.
    It’s my personal opinion that also make a blog on the learning and ideas instead of Data and fact sheets which we can find over the internet easily.
