COMEDK Form Filling Made Easier, Check how?


COMEDK Application forms will be available in February. Interested candidates must apply for the exam latest by April. The entire application process will be conducted through the online mode for the convenience of students. This will help in easing the process and ensure accuracy in the registration process.

Students must register for the exam on the official website of COMEDK i.e. . Aspirants will be required to register for the test by filling up general details about themselves and their academic qualification. They must then pay the requisite fees of INR 1200 (INR 2000 for both COMEDK and Uni Gauge). Individuals will be required to upload necessary documents after remitting the fees. The conducting body will only process those application forms which are complete in every sense.

Aspirants who successfully register for the exam will appear for the exam in May. COMEDK is a state level exam conducted annually for admitting aspirants into engineering and pharmacy courses offered by the participating colleges.


How to Apply?

COMEDK Application Form will be available on the official website . Participants should note that application forms can be submitted only by the online mode. Only those students who apply for the test by paying the requisite application fees can appear for the entrance exam. Aspirants should have secured at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category) in class 12 board exam to fulfill the basic eligibility criterion.

COMEDK application process comprises of 4 main steps- Online Registration, Filling of Application Form, Uploading Documents and Payment of Fees. Candidates can fill the form by using the steps that are stated below:


Step 1: Registration

Students must visit the official website and click on ‘New Registration’. There they will have to enter the following details-

  • Name of the Individual
  • Date of Birth
  • Email ID
  • Mobile number
  • Individual’s unique ID proof

They will receive a User ID and Password via SMS and email upon submission of this application form. Applicants should be careful while entering the registration details as it cannot be modified once submitted.


Step 2: Filling of COMEDK Application form

Aspirants must login using the User ID and Password provided to them. They will have to enter basic details about themselves and their educational background. The fields that have to be filled in the form are:

  • Applying for: Select the exam for which they wish to appear from the drop down list.
  • Personal details: Participants have to fill general details like-
  1. Father’s name
  2. Mother’s name
  3. Gender
  4. Nationality
  5. Unique ID proof type and number of Parent
  6. Parent’s mobile number and email ID
  7. Annual income
  8. Permanent and correspondence address
  • Category details: Applicants will have to choose the state, category and religion they belong to from the drop down list.
  • Academic details: They must fill in educational details like-
  1. Qualifying exam
  2. Board of qualifying exam
  3. Name of institution last attended
  4. Roll/ Registration/ Index number of class 10 mark sheet
  5. Other entrance exams being pursued


Step 3: Uploading Images

Candidates must upload scanned images of their recent, passport- sized photograph, signature, father’s signature and ID proof as selected during application. All the documents should be as per the specifications mentioned in the COMEDK application form.

Step 4: Payment of Application Fees

Applicants must next choose their exam center and payment mode. COMEDK application fees are INR 1200. They must enter the security code and accept the declaration. Pay the application fee by submitting all the necessary details on the bank page and save the receipt of transaction.


Documents required for COMEDK Application

Students will need certain documents while filling the COMEDK application form. They will require it to fill up some fields in the form while some documents have to be uploaded. The list of documents required during the application process is given below:

  • Recent passport sized, colored photograph
  • A scanned copy of the applicant’s signature
  • Class 10 certificate/ School leaving certificate for proof of date of birth
  • Category certificate, if applicable
  • A valid photo ID proof of the candidate (Aadhaar card, School ID card, Voter’s ID, PAN card, etc.)
  • Aspirant’s valid unique ID proof number
  • Annual income of Parent/ Guardian
  • A valid photo ID proof of the parent or guardian
  • A valid unique ID proof number of parent/ guardian


Application Fee

Participants must pay the application fees to complete COMEDK application process. They can render the fees only by the online method. The offline mode of payment has been discontinued since 2017. This has been done for the ease of payment.

The application fee for COMEDK (PCM) is INR 1200 and INR 2000 incase an individual wants to appear for both COMEDK and Uni Gauge. Fees can be rendered by using Credit or Debit card and Net banking. No other mode of online payment will be accepted. Application fees are non- refundable and non- transferable to other tests conducted by COMEDK under any situation.

Candidates will have to choose their mode of payment during the application process. They will be directed to Citrus payment portal after clicking on submit button to complete the payment process. After the transaction is done, they must login again and verify the status of their payment.


The organizing body of COMEDK has made the application process easier so as to ensure higher number of applicants. The application process will be completely conducted in the online mode. It has been designed in such a way that no candidate will be required to send a hard copy of the application or any other document to the authorities. Applicants should make sure that they apply within time and provide accurate details.
